Campanula Portenslagiana and Campanula Carpatica;
12 cm pot available from the beginning of March through to the end of June/beginning of July
The campanula Portenslagiana has small calyx-like blue flowers and blossoms until late in the autumn season. It is mainly used in gardens as ground cover or as a hanging plant.
The Campanula Carpatica has much larger blue or white flowers. This plant develops itself differently and is a lovely border plant. Both types of Campanula are winter-hardy, but are also suitable as indoor plant.
We cultivate Solanum Pseudocapsicum Mega Ball 15-cm pot for the autumn season, along with Solanum Thurino 12-cm pot.
These plants have lovely shiny orange fruits. The fruits of the Mega Ball are significantly larger than those of the Thurino. The Thurino bears fruits in two colours; the dark green fruits that turn orange later on and the light lemon coloured fruits that change to light orange. We set up our own selection in 2007 and we plan to further define it in the years to come.
The Solanum Mega Ball bears coloured fruits early on in the year. The first fruits colour at the beginning of August and this continues until halfway through September. The fruits of the Solanum Thurino colour at the end of August at the earliest and are available until midway October.
In addition to Campanula and Solanum, we also cultivate the Capsicum Tango.
This is an ornamental pepper plant with large pepper-like fruits.
They are available in three colours: red, orange and yellow.
The Capsicum Tango is an improved variety of Capsicum compared to the Capsicum Karnaval, which we cultivated in the past years. Compared to the Karnaval, the Tango retains a much lovelier compactness.
The Capsicum is available from the beginning of September until around the end of October.
The plants are supplied on Danish carts or auction carts; this may be an Aalsmeer or Flora Holland cart:
